On Wednesday morning at Pattaya School No 8 ( Pattanugoon School) located on South Pattaya Road at Chaimongkol Temple Intersection, a Parent’s Meeting was held for the school, at which the Mayor Ittipol Khhunpluem attended to commence the meeting in the presence of the former local MP Mr. Poramet Ngam-pi-chet.

Both Honorable Guests were welcomed by the School Principal Mrs. Aporn Rat-cha-sing-ho and the teachers.
 
Many parents attended the meeting to address the policies and plans for the school and also to get information about the government supported funds and also about such policies as the 15 Year Free Education, plus the extra costs of their English training program, Library fees, Accident insurance which are not funded by the government but are available to students if they choose.
 
The Mayor Ittipol said he hoped that the new school bus which has been given to the school will be able to help reducing time and money for the parents in the area, with an increase in the safety of students.
