The Management of the Motorcycle Mag Road Racing Championship 2011 held a press conference at Pattaya City Hall on Friday afternoon.  Attending were  Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum, Deputy Mayor Ronnagit Ekasing, city council members, the Advertising Manager of Motorcycle Magazine Mr. Chayapon Malaklai, and the Vice President of Grand Prix International Ltd. Mr. Anotai Iam-lam-nao. They announced that the Motorcycle Mag Road Racing Championship 2011 will be held on the weekend of May 28 – 29, 2011 at Bira Racing Circuit, where the racers will compete for the Trophy given by HM Prince Washiralongkorn.

This year’s race is open for 4 Levels of skills, the Automatic Championship under 16 years, the Automatic Championship under 19 years, the Family 125 cc, and the Superbike Championship 1,000 Pro. The special prize for this year’s Thailand Champion is a custom made racing motorcycle worth 150,000 Baht. Pattaya City Hall deems this race very important, as the race has enhanced Pattaya’s reputation for many years.
