Deputy Mayor Weerawat Kahkai hosted a meeting to discuss preparations for the coming Ceremony to Decrease Bad Karma. The Chairman of the Pra Yai Chaiyaphum Foundation, which is supporting this observance, promotion Mr.Tipagorn Rin-tai-soeng (not pronounced like song but soeng) attended the meeting to explain the plan to the relevant authorities and members of the foundation.
The Ceremony to Decrease Bad Karma will be held on June 15th, 2011 at the Lan Poe Naklua Market, for the people to conduct religious activities following the Hindu belief that the ceremony will help them to reduce the bad karma, or actions, they have done in previous and current lives, and open the gateway for good fortune. Everyone is welcome to join in the ceremony, and contribute to the fund for the construction of the World’s Biggest Buddha Image in the Muang District of Chaiyaphum province.
