On Tuesday afternoon, the Hard Rock Cafe' on Beach Rd. celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Hard Rock International. The party was hosted in tandem with all the other Hard Rock venues worldwide. Hard Rock Pattaya graced the party with the theme Save the Planet, emphasizing community service and environmental conservation. 40 students from Ban Amphur School, sponsored by the Hard Rock, participated in the anniversary by performing community service. The kids cleaned up the beach with the staff and guests of Hard Rock, starting at Soi 6 all the way down to Central Rd., letting everyone feel fulfilled in being able to do some good for the city and the environment.
Hard Rock Cafe' was established in London on June 14, 1971 to bring Rock 'n Roll to the people, and became well-known in 1982. There are many branches of Hard Rock in the cosmopolitan cities around the world, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, New York, Dallas, Boston, Washington DC, Paris, Berlin and now Thailand and South East Asia; over 100 branches in 53 countries. Giving us 40 years of Rock 'n Roll, June 14th is the Anniversary of Hard Rock.
