Pattaya City Hall likes to get prepared for upcoming events and celebrations and so on Thursday afternoon, a meeting was held between relevant authorities to discuss about National Scouts Day, which falls on 1st July. Pattaya School Number 7 on Sukhumvit Road in Jomtien was chosen to be the venue for the main celebrations. Activities and parades to honour Rama VI, known as the Father of Thai Scouting and the present Chief Scout, Rama IX, HM the King will be the order of the day to commemorate the historical establishment of the National Scout Organization of Thailand on 1st July, 1911. The NSOT was one of the charter members in the creation of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1922.
