Saturday morning at the Gao Rai Football Field on Pattaya’s 3rd Road, saw Pattaya City Hall, and the Japanese Petanque Club host a Petanque Tournament.  Many petanque players joined in the fun, to challenge each other for first place and top the rest of South East Asia.
 
The Pan Pacific Patanque Championship 2011 featured 2 Categories, the Team and Shooting Categories. There was intense interest in these, especially from the Japanese Patangue Club, who sought to upgrade their skills by learning many more tricks and tips at the tourney. Despite the endless rain, the games went on until the very end.
