On Friday afternoon at Hard Rock Hotel, Mayor Ittipol Khunpleum chaired a meeting to inform relevant groups about this year’s Grand Sale. In attendance were the Chonburi Provincial Administration Office, the Chonburi Tourist Attractions Club, the Pattaya Restaurant Club, the Golf Course Club Eastern Chapter, the Thai Hotel Association Eastern Chapter and the Business Operators and Tourism Association of Pattaya.  This is 2nd year for Pattaya’s Grand Sale, and the expectations are higher than last year, as all sectors have cooperated by offering Discounts, Free Gifts and other Promotions to boost the tourism industry of the Eastern Sea Board during the low season.

The Pattaya Grand Sale started on June 15th and will finish on September 30th. Over 100 businesses are offering discounts up to 70% for their services and products. 76 hotels, 12 tourist attractions, 36 restaurants and shops, 10 beauty and health services are offering special promotional packages to the public, and all this will be publicized in Bangkok on Tuesday, June 28th, 2011, to let everyone know the great bargains to be had in Pattaya.
