At another police checkpoint, this time at Soi 2 off Jomtien Beach Road, officers and volunteers besides the regular non helmet wearers and no licenses, managed to catch a 22 year old man named Jirawat with a bag of Yah Ice in his possession. He claimed the drug was for personal use but even so he was taken away to face charges of drug possession and now faces a day in court.
