In the early hours of Friday morning, Pattaya Police were notified to investigate a gold chain snatching incident on Soi 6 off Beach Road.   At the scene was Mr. Bharat Bhoshan, aged 54 from Iran, who was holding Mr. Napat aged 28, claiming that the ladyboy was the culprit who had stolen his 30,000 baht worth gold chain a few days previous after soliciting the tourist in the same location.  The Iranian claimed he had filed a report with the police and decided to return to the scene believing he might recognise the thief.  According to him he was correct, but according to the ladyboy, he was wrong!  But luck was not on the suspect’s side as the Iranian had friends present who claimed they witnessed the theft of the chain by this person. So all were taken back to the station for further investigation!
