On Thursday morning, a seminar was held by Pattaya City Hall and the Chonburi Public Health Department, to educate spa owners about the International Requirements of this business, as it is a Health Related Business.  Deputy Mayor Wattana Jan-ta-na-wa-ra-non welcomed the Honorable Guest, the Deputy Chief of Chonburi’s Provincial Public Health Department, Dr. Yutanawee Wa-ta-na-ang-goon, to open the program. The Spa business has become very popular, so more rules & regulations are required to ensure the quality of these spas. The government has decided that adhering to the international standards of services and products will help bring these establishments to an uppermost position in Pattaya, and be among the most popular venues for tourists.  The trainees were instructed about the relevant laws and standards. Thailand’s spa salons are going international, and the operators must prepare to meet the high expectations from international visitors, and this training certainly helped.
