Even though patrol police have continuously set up traffic checkpoints in different areas around Pattaya, many motorists still don’t seem to follow the rules of the road. At a checkpoint set up on South Pattaya Road on Monday, twenty offenders were stopped and invited to a nearby desk to pay a fine for not wearing safety helmets, having no tax discs, or licenses and driving whilst using mobile phones.
