In the early hours of Tuesday morning Pattaya Police set about organising a trip along Beach Road in order to sweep the area of prostitutes and ladyboys.  After receiving many complaints about these people pestering tourists, with some being pick pocketed as they were approached, caressed and mauled by these crafty operators.  In all, 70 people were apprehended and all were fined 100 baht for disturbing the peace, with 25 being detained for failing drug tests.
