Sriracha police and the fire brigade had their hands full over the weekend when a fire broke out at the Chalong Fresh Market in Surasak, Sriracha. Ten fire trucks were sent to the scene as the blaze swept out of control through the area consuming 8 of the 2 storey wooden shop houses.  It took the team one hour to get the fire under control. Sriracha Sheriff Mr Wichai Sampantarat was in charge of the incident and his first assumption was that a short circuit had started the blaze. Further investigation continues.
