A meeting took place at the Chonburi Government Center over the weekend with Permanent Secretary Mr. Preeda Somboonsab presiding.  The topic was about a finance scheme initiated by the Ministry of Interior to help bring poor and low paid people out of the poverty trap.  The 4 year campaign will begin in 2012 to shift the gap between rich and poor in society.  At the opening ceremony, Mr. Sombooonsab ceremoniously cracked a rock shaped in the word Poor to signal the end of poverty in Chonburi within the next 5 years.
