In the early hours of Monday morning, Banglamung Police were contacted by the local hospital to investigate a man admitted with bullet wounds involved in a shooting incident that had taken place on Soi Nernplubwan. Officers went to the crime scene to find a Honda Wave bike parked outside a nearby 7-Eleven store; with bullet holes and blood stains found in the front section of the bike. Meanwhile, officers were at Banglamung hospital where they questioned 35 year old Mr. Somchai Singhaporn from Khon Kaen about what happened. He stated that he was on his way to work at the Siam Bay View Hotel in South Pattaya, when a man approached him on a Honda bike and for no known reason fired a gun at him, hitting him in the back. A report was made and a full investigation is now in progress.
