On Friday afternoon, Many areas of Sattahip were hit by a massive rainfall, for over 4 hours. Parts of Sukhumvit Road, Route 3, which connects to Rayong and Sattahip were completely washed out. The traffic became paralyzed as the water rushed down from the mountains.

Many houses were also flooded, and the Sattahip authorities had to hasten to drain the water, before another downpour.
