Over 100 patients were evacuated from Bhumibol Hospital in Pathumtani due to the massive and ongoing flooding there. The 13 most severe cases were taken to hospitals in Eastern Thailand.
The 13 patients were evacuated with the C-130 Aircraft of the Royal Thai Air Force, from Don Muang Airport to Utapao Airport. They were admitted to Queen Sirikit Hospital, in Sattahip, while the other patients were evacuated by ambulances to 7 hospitals in Chantaburi.
All the evacuees were patients who do not need surgery.
