Police and officials from the Child Protection Center paid a visit to a house in Ban Nern Rodfai in Nongprue to investigate a reported abuse case.  Neighbours had reported that a mother was constantly beating her 18 year old daughter, causing her physical abuse and mental suffering.  The house was used as a medium center and was constantly visited by people for psychic readings, who noted the girl was tied up to a pole and was constantly crying.   Mommy Dearest denied the charges and stated that her daughter was psychotic and probably possessed, so she tied her up for her own safety so she could not run out of the house.  The girl was taken to Banglamung Hospital to check for abuse and then will be sent for mental diagnosis before legal proceedings take place.
