The Thepprasit Boxing Stadium will be the venue for a New Year Muay Thai extravaganza on Friday 30�� December. The top fight will be between French K-1 Champion Jerome Le Banner and Russian Andrie Kirsanov.

Jérôme "Geronimo" Le Banner is a French kickboxer and K-1 superstar, famous for his aggressive fighting style and knockout power.

He is a legend in the K-1 sport and is still considered to be the best fighter to never win the K-1 World Grand Prix Title. He has knocked out top ranked fighters such as, Peter Aerts, Ernesto Hoost, Francisco Filho and Mike Bernardo. He also holds an MMA victory over middleweight Yoshihiro Akiyama. Out of his more than 100 fights 75% has been won by Knock Out.

Pattaya People CEO Niels Colov met with Jerome Le Banner and the Boxing Promotor Denis Cintura at the fashionable Mercure Hotel in Soi 15 off Pattaya Second Road.  It is the first time Le Banner fights in Pattaya, but has been here on holiday before with his wife and daughter. He told us that Pattaya has both a Night and Day version, and he prefer to enjoy the day version with his family.
