On Wednesday, in Chonburi, many people started decorating their houses to celebrate the New Year, welcoming in 2012 by hanging beautiful and colorful paper lanterns and sparkling lights.
 
Even though many families plan to do some traveling over the New Year period, there are still many families that choosing to stay home and party, as they ds not wish to be in heavy traffic on the holiday.
 
Shop, houses, government authorities and private sectors have decorated their premises with high hopes for a peaceful and joyful 2012 to come.
