Right after midnight on Friday, the Laem Chabang Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Nattagrit Ging-chai-ya-pume were called to a conflagration at the Color Ribbon (Thailand) Ltd. Factory, located in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate. The flames were getting stronger, as the ribbons are highly flammable material.
 
The Laem Chabang Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Sak-ra-pee Piao-pa-nit was informed, and over 20 fire trucks were sent from all surrounding localities.
 
At the scene, a single storey building was seriously on fire, with the flames getting very strong. The fire trucks, supervised by the Laem Chabang Permanent Secretary Mr. Pusit Jaem-see, surrounded the building and sprayed water at the factory from all directions. It took over 2 hours for the firefighters to successfully put out the fire in the building, which is situated on 8 Rai of land.
 
The police could not enter the burnt building after the fire was doused, to make an inspection, as it was extremely hot, but further investigation will be made after the building cools down.
