On Wednesday night at the Mitkamon Checkpoint, located in Soi Siam Country Club, the Chief of the Nongprue Police Sub-station Pol. Lt. Col. Pong-ra-pee Loy-sai-or dispatched many police squads to search every risky and dark area in the neighborhood.  The officers went out to monitor for drunk driving and drug trafficking plus any illegal activities, as it was the last night of the 7 Dangerous Days during the New Year period, which started on December 29th, 2011 to January 4th, 2012.
 
The checkpoints resulted in 3 Drunk Driving arrests, of persons age 23, 36 and 44, and there was no other illegal operations discovered.
