The PTT Pattaya Open 2012 continued on Tuesday, with the 218th World’s Seeded Player from Thailand Miss Warachaya Wong-tien-chai winning the Prize at Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel. Miss Warachaya made through the play-offs to be matched against a Japanese player Miss Misa Ikiji, and the victory went to Thailand, scoring 2-0, 6-4 and 6-3. The heated contest took 1:22 hours and went through to the next round.
 
Miss Warachaya collected a prize of 1,825 USD or 54,750 Baht, and she now has to play against 8th World’s Seeded Player and 1st Seeded Player of this tournament, Miss Vera Schonavera from Russia, and this will certainly be a tougher game for Miss Warachaya.
