Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, at the Royal Garden Plaza, started a Marathon Kiss Competition on Sunday afternoon. Who will be the lovers with the longest kiss, to break the World’s Record made in 2009 by a German couple of a 46:24:9 hour kiss?  The Title of this 2012 Marathon is the Return of the Loving Kiss.

This contest is considered one of the world’s toughest competitions, but many couples have signed up for this.  The aim of this competition is also to build strong bonds in the family as well as for lovers.

The competition goes on until February 14th , and the contestants are not allowed to separate from each other, and their kiss,  for any reason whatsoever in the first 6 hours. After that, they can go to the toilet once every 3 hours, and then return to their prolonged and passionate kissing.

The General Manager of Ripley’s Mr. Somporn Nark-seu-troeng challenges all lovers to show their love to the world, and to win prizes worth over 200,000 Baht.
