In the early hours of Monday morning, Banglamung Police were called by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team to investigate a shooting incident involving teenagers near the new Naklua market. At the scene, a black Ford pickup was found with 8 bullet holes, plus the teenage driver and four passengers who had been hit by a number of 9mm bullets. All were given first aid before being rushed to Banglamung hospital. At the hospital a statement was given by one of the passengers, who claimed that they were on the way to visit a relative at the hospital, when they came across a rival gang, who began provocating them and finally pulled out guns and started firing indiscriminately at the truck. A report was made and an investigation is now under way to trace the rival gang.
