Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit presided over a ceremony at a school in Soi Nern Plub Wan on Friday afternoon.   The event called Bank of Garbage, is a local social project to learn the public, especially school children, about the significance of waste and to store different items, such as glass and metal objects separately in dumpsters.  The aim of the project started in 2005 is to raise awareness of energy conservation via recycling and care for the environment.
