On Sunday at the Nongplalai Administration Office, an Election to replace a member of the Nongplalai Administration was conducted. There were 2 candidates for this election Mr. Grerk Prahb-raht and Miss Prapaporn Peng-plahng. 
 
From a voting roll of 1,378, 65 % of people used their rights to cast a vote for the person they favored. There were 2 voting stations set up separately for convenience of the voters, and the election was held under the supervision of the Permanent Secretary of the Nongplalai Administration Office Mr. Peng Buahom.
 
The voting booths were closed at 3 pm,  and Mr. Grerk Prahb-raht was declared the new Board Member, receiving 460 votes to Miss Prapaporn’s 311 votes.
