On Thursday, the Sriracha Police Deputy Superintendent In charge of Suppressions Pol. Lt. Col. Samrit Koonchit were called to investigate a purse snatching that happened to Miss Kwanta Chin-wong-tuam, aged 29. She was driving her motorcycle on a village road, carrying a purse contained 30,000 Baht, 1 I Phone, 1 E 72 Mobile phone, credit cards and documents, and at the scene, the officers found a very frightened Miss Kwanta waiting for the police.
She stated that she was on her way to give the money to her aunt, but she stopped at a ATM to withdraw some more money, as her aunt needed 30,000 Baht. That could have been the moment that she was spotted by the snatcher. The snatcher grabbed her purse and ran off, causing a minor accident to Miss Kwanta when her motorcycle fell over. The police network was contacted to search for the snatcher, and further investigations continue.
