In the early hours of Monday morning Nongkam police were granted a search warrant to go investigate a house being suspected of being a drug trafficking centre.   The owner of the house, Mrs. Noy aged 50 was at home at the time.  On searching the premises officers found a number of empty plastic bags with small traces of yaba and crystal meths, which apparently was not enough evidence to arrest the woman.  However, a young man staying at the house, Sontaya, failed a drug test.  He was taken away for questioning and rehabilitation.
