Police announced on Wednesday the arrest of a gang of drug traffickers.  The two men were caught with 545 yaba tablets and 1,700 kilos of substance for making the drug.  Apisit and Bandit were arrested at a house in Naklua Soi 16.  They both confessed to working for a prisoner in a Bangkok jail.  On further investigation, officers traced a relative of the prisoner, a Mrs. Ploy, living in Banglamung.  On visiting her, the woman was not at home, but a strong smell of yaba being produced was wafting from the house, so the officers entered and found a substantial amount of drugs and drug making equipment.  A full scale investigation is now underway to find the woman and two other people named by the two captured members of the gang.
