On Saturday, the Banglamung Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Capt. Supawat Lattapracha were called to investigate the death of a foreign man. The man was discovered in a single storey house in Burapa Village, off Soi Khao Noi. At the scene, officers found the bathroom door closed from the inside, so the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team had to unscrew the door. When they removed the door, they saw the body of Mr. Walter Hunt, aged 73 from Germany, lying by the doorway. The deceased was stretched out on the floor on his stomach, and without clothes. The neighbors stated that Mr. Walter had rented this house for over a year, and was very friendly. He normally walked outside the house with his Poodle dog every day. As they had not seen him for a couple of days, they suspected that something was wrong. Therefore, they entered the house to check and discovered a strong smell coming out of the bathroom, and realized that was the man’s body. The body was sent for an autopsy, and further investigations hope to find the actual cause of death. News stories placed on this website are short versions.
