On Monday morning at the Surasak Municipality, the Permanent Secretary Mrs. Supannee Jitjana, speaking for the Committee of the upcoming Municipality Council Member Election, Region 1, began accepting Applications to replace Mr. Wirat Sab-am-nuay-suk who was shot to death in February. The Application window is open until Friday, March 9th and the Election will be held on April 8th.

Only 1 candidate applied on the 1st day, Mr. Jaturong Jittin, aged 42,  who has been in the local Administration for many years. More candidates are expected sign up before the last day, however, and there are over 40,000 people registered to vote in the Surasak Sub-district .
