Muay Thai Coach Injured In Road Accident

Click for Video on Monday, the Sattahip Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Saijai Kamjunla were summoned to investigate an accident on Sukhumvit Road.
The mishap occurred on the inbound to Rayong side of Sukhumvit, opposite the Navy Sports Field in Sattahip. The Sawang-rojana Rescue Team was also called for assistance, and at the scene, Mr. Prapart Palee, aged 50, who is a Muay Thai Coach in the area, was found injured, with scratches and scrapes all around his body. Nearby was his blue-black Honda Wave 100 motorcycle, which was slightly damaged. A green Toyota pickup driven by Navy Sgt. Chanchai Tongtip, aged 29, was parked on the side of the road. The Sergeant stated that he was driving out of the soi, and about to enter Sukhumvit Road, when the Muay Thai Coach tried to take a short cut by driving his motorcycle on the side of the road against the traffic flow. The coach came up on the left hand side of the pickup, and started to turn into the same soi the pickup was leaving, and as the bike was moving too fast to stop, it hit the side of the pickup. The biker was obviously in the wrong, but there was a chance for negotiations, so the police allowed the 2 parties to settle and finished with a police report.
