Click for Video On Monday, the Sattahip Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Narate Boontee went to investigate an accident on Sukhumvit Road Km# 173, on the inbound to Sattahip side.
At the scene, a white Toyota Hilux, which was fully loaded with chicken meat from the V. C. P. Group Ltd, was found completely wrecked. The truck had crashed into an electric pole on the side of the road. The driver Mr. Pittinan See-noen-muang, aged 21, was uninjured. He stated that while he was driving towards Sattahip, a dog ran out into the roadway, and cut in front of his pickup. The driver was startled by the dog, and lost control of the steering wheel, causing the pickup to crash into the electricity pole. Mr. Pittinan will have to pay for the damage to the electricity pole, even if the accident was caused by a dog. The accident could also have happened due to the driver speeding, driving too fast to react and slow down when the dog cut in front of him. Further legal proceedings will continue.
