Curbing Numbers of Beggars and Vagrants in Pattaya
A meeting took place at Pattaya City Hall on Tuesday and was chaired by Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Aegasing. The topic for discussion was about vagrants, beggars and disturbed people staying in Pattaya. The aim of the meeting was to gather ideas and suggestions from the relevant authorities to deal with what has become a major problem in recent months. With the build up to Songkran next month authorities expect an even bigger increase in beggars etc to the city. Therefore it is essential to curb these high numbers as it will damage the reputation of Pattaya striving to be a safe family tourist seaside destination.
