Chonburi Immigration officers pounced on a number of rented houses on Tuesday evening, after receiving information that at least 30 foreign people were staying there after illegally entering the country. The tip-off that came from 20 people arrested the previous day proved correct, as 30 people, including young children, were indeed found in the rented rooms near Naklua pier. All of them confessed to being brought into the country after paying agents in both Laos and Cambodia. They earned a living from begging on the streets of Pattaya. They were all rounded up and taken back to the station for processing and deportation.
