Store Room of Putta-kodom Temple Burns Down
|
Click for Video On Wednesday night, an old temple building, recently used as a store room at Puttakodom Temple, in Sriracha, burnt to the ground.
5 fire trucks were sent to put out the fire, but as the temple is located on a mountain, the fire trucks could not make it up to the blaze, and the firefighters had to spend time hauling the hoses up to the burning structure. The flames destroyed the whole space, and it took the firefighters 1 hour to put out the fire. Amazingly, a Buddha image in the room was not damaged whatsoever, and the main assumption for the cause of conflagration was a Short Circuit, but further investigations will be made.
