The Banglamung Police were called to deal with an argument between a Thai woman Mrs. Wilasinee Bunying, aged 23 and a German tourist Mr. Manfred Wagner, aged 50. The man had rented a blue-black Honda Nuvo motorcycle for over 3 months, but no rent money had been paid to Miss Wilasinee’s company.
When the bike broke down on the Railway Bypass, the tourist called the company to come and take responsibility. When Miss Wilasinee came, she realized that this bike owed over 3 months in rental fees. A woman friend of hers had brokered the rental of this bike, and the woman told her that the renter had gone back home for a while, and that the rental fee would be paid as soon as the tourist returns to Pattaya.
The German tourist was taken to Banglamung Police Station for questioning, and Miss Wilasinee only requested the past-due rental fee and her bike back. The Banglamung Police will be the mediator for this case.
