Foreign Man Injured After Fall from Railway Bridge

A foreign male reportedly jumped off a railway bridge in an apparent suicide attempt in the early hours of Friday morning. 

Banglamung Police and Sawang Boriboon were called for assistance and visited the bridge located in Soi Nern Plub Wan, where they found the man, aged around 60, who was not carrying any form of identification, but appeared to be in a very intoxicated state.   He refused to speak and was given first aid for a broken leg and suspected internal injuries before being sent to the nearest hospital.  Witnesses stated that they saw the man near the bridge and appeared to be talking to himself.  An investigation is now under way to identify the non responding fellow.
