Fatal Bike Accident on Pratamnak Hill

Pattaya police were notified in the early hours of Friday morning about a fatal motorcycle accident that had occurred in front of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort on Pratamnak Hill.

At the scene officers found a Honda Wave bike and nearby was the body of 19 year old Mr. Pakpoom and his injured passenger Mr. Seri, aged 22, who was in a very drunken condition.  Seri stated that they had just been to a concert on Thepprasit Road and admitted that they were both drunk.  They were on their way to Bali Hai pier when they lost control of the bike, which flipped over on the hill, causing Pakpoom to fall off into the path of a nearby electric pole.   A full investigation is now under way.
