Man Dies by Falling From High Bed

On Saturday, the Sattahip Police were called to investigate the death of Mr. Wirote Moed-iam,

aged 56, who was found dead in his house in Na Jomtien by his older brother.

The man’s body was found lying on his stomach with an open wound on his forehead above the right eyebrow, and a blood stain on the floor. The family stated that they found Mr. Wirote lying in that position when they returned home, and they placed Mr. Wirote back up on the bed, as he was still breathing.

After a little while, he stopped breathing. The family tried their best to administer resuscitation, but they failed. Mr. Wirote was known for struggling while he slept since he was a child, and he must have fallen down from his bed, which was about 1 meter high off the floor, and hit his head. There was no evidence of foul play in the room, so the case was closed and the body was given to the family for funeral rites.
