On Monday night, a team of Tourist Police led by Pol. Serg. Maj. Chutipan Tet-yaem and a female police Pol. Serg. Maj. Natta Wintarat was patrolling Pattaya Beach Road, when they spotted a man acting suspiciously, as if he were selling some kind of illegal item. He was later identified as Mr. Sa-nguan-sit Wong-si-ri-wan, aged 43 from Nontaburi province. When the officers stopped him for searching at the top of Soi 13/ 4, AKA Soi Pattaya Land, an amount of Marijuana was found in his right pants pocket.

He referred to a drug dealer in Pattaya, and stated that the high profits convinced him to turn drug trafficker, as he could buy the packet of weed for 200 Baht and sell it for 1,000 Baht. But his profits have certainly fallen to a new low, now that he faces prosecution by the Pattaya Police.
