Laem Chabang police announced on Monday the arrest of a young man accused of the attempted rape of a university student.  The man, Sutee aged 29 from Nongplalai confessed that he was visiting his friend when he passed the girl’s room. The door was wide open and she was apparently only wearing a pair of shorts as she was washing clothes.  Being high on crystal meths at the time, led him to lose control of his senses and he entered the room and pounced on the unsuspecting girl.  However, she fought back and screamed for help, causing him to panic and run away. Police traced him as he unwittingly dropped his mobile on the floor during his escape.  Legal proceedings are now under way.
