On Monday afternoon, the Laem Chabang Police were informed of road accident at the Ao-Udom intersection. The Police arrived at the scene to find that a SUZUKI Crystal motorcycle had collided into the rear of a trailer, and not far away, the officers also found the dead body of an unknown Thai man. The driver of trailer, Thawatchai Bootmusik, aged 37, told Police that he was transporting the container to Laemchabang Port. As he came to the Ao-Udom intersection, there was a red light, so he then slowed down his vehicle. At the same time, a motorcycle driven at high speed smashed into the back of his vehicle, and the head of the rider slammed into the metal back of the trailer, causing him to die immediately.
The Police checked the body, but could find nothing to identify the person. The body was sent to a nearby hospital before searching for his relatives.
