Sattahip police were notified on Wednesday morning by the abbot of a local temple, concerning the drug taking behavior of two of his monks.  A team of officers were allowed to visit and on inspecting the room of the suspect monks, they found the two in the act of taking yaba tablets.  The two young men in their early 20s were taken to the abbot to be dismissed from the monkhood and then be arrested for drug offences.  The two confessed to being addicts and used money donated from local residents to purchase their drugs from an agent, Mrs. Lek, in Rayong.  A full investigation is now under way.
