Or. Bor. Por. Ror. means Civilian Volunteer in Thai, and as March 22nd was Or. Bor. Por. Ror’s Day, the Minister of the Interior sent a message to all Civilian Volunteers throughout the country. In Banglamung, this message was read to the volunteers by Banglamung’s Sheriff Mr. Chaowalit Saeng-u-tai on Wednesday.
The Minister expressed his deep appreciation for the Civilian Volunteers, as the administration and officers have been able to work effectively due to the help of the volunteers in many cases.
The Sheriff is also the President of the Civilian Volunteer Center, so the Chairman of the Civilian Volunteer Committee Mr. Bandasak Giat-pin-yo-porn and Chonburi MP Mr. Chalerm Gade-jae also attended the ceremony to deliver the Minister’s Message.
The observance concluded with a Buddhist ceremony with 9 monks from the Sawang-a-rom Temple, who blessed the civilian volunteers, wishing them safety and success, and Food Offering to the monks took place afterwards.
