The Annual General Meeting of the Hotel Association, Eastern Chapter, was held on Thursday to elect the Chairman and 2 Vice Chairmen for 2012- 2013. The current Chairman has been Mrs. Boondarick Gusonwit and 1st Vice Chairman has been Mr. Tanade Su-porn-sa-hat-sang-see while Mr. Chachawan Su-pa-cha-ya-nan has been 2nd Vice Chairman.

Pattaya’s Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum attended as the Guest of Honor, and commenced the meeting to start the voting from the 30 members with voting rights.

Mrs. Boondarick was re-elected by unanimous vote to be the Chairman for a 2nd Term, and Mr. Sanpet Su-pa-bor-worn-sa-tian was chosen to be the 1st Vice Chairman. The 2nd Vice Chairman is still the incumbent, Mr. Chachawan Su-pa-cha-ya-nan.

The Chairman Mrs. Boondarick clarified the key objectives for her new term,  which will focus on upgrading the Promotional campaigns both domestic and international, to bring more tourists to Pattaya and the Eastern Region. The association will accentuate the Eastern Seaboard as a inclusive location for Seminars and meetings, and also needs to Educate the hoteliers on the Asean Economic Upgrade. Finally, the group will also work with government authorities and the private sector to conserve the  beauty of our natural environment.
