At the Nongprue municipality Office on Tuesday, a workshop was convened to advance the community plan further than the local development plan. The workshop assembled all the pertinent information and guidelines for development in each community. This information will be used to inform the public and the data will be used for additional workshops. The meeting was attended by Khun Mai Chai-ya-nit, Mayor of Nongprue and the management team, members of the municipality’s council, heads of department and leaders from the community.

The workshop was a chance for the local people to develop some power and input on these future plans, and set up a guideline for the budget.  Now, the people themselves can present a problem or project related to the local development, and participate in their communities’ expansion.
