A drug rehabilitation programme was introduced in Nongprue on Wednesday at a local school.  Attending was Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit, who opened the project to gather names and information about drug addicts and suspected addicts living in every sub-district and village.  Information gathered will be used to help these people rehabilitate at a new Narcotic Drug Center.  Local police attended and stated that they will cooperate with the project as it is essential to treat addicts as patients and not criminals.
