On Saturday, Chonburi’s Police Commander, Pol. Maj. Gen. Jamnong Ratanagoon and Saensuk Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Ittiporn Potong held a press conference to announce the arrest of Mr. Yuttagarn Meegaew and Mr. Direk Tongprasert, the 2 murderers of a Burapa University Student, Mr. Rapeepat Sa-nguan-raam.  The student was shot dead with a .38 revolver while drinking with his friends on Bangsaen Beach in March, and one of his friends Mr. Awirut Sasao was also shot and went into a coma.

The murderers confessed that they were riding a motorcycle along the beach, and because they were drunk, the motorcycle fell over onto the road. While they were trying to get the bike up, they heard someone laughing, which was Mr. Rapeepat and his friends.  These drunkards thought that Mr. Rapeepat was laughing at them, therefore one of them pulled out the pistol, and shot at the group, killing Mr. Rapeepat and putting Mr. Awirut in a coma.
